FREE ADMISSION WEEKDAYS - Pumpkin Patch and Fall Festival at Cottonwood Farms in Boulder, CO
Open every day September 25- October 31, 10 AM to 6 PM
$5 On Weekends ages 5 and 65
We are a family farm located just east of Boulder specializing in pumpkins and fall produce.
Play in the corn or straw bale maze, and see farm animals and tractors. We have lots of pumpkins and fall produce for sale. The only activity we charge for is the wagon ride, which is available on Saturdays and Sundays.
Bring the whole family for a walk in the corn maze free of charge. Our two acre corn maze provides the real feel of being on the farm. Cut by hand, not by tractors, it allows our paths be narrower, and the experience more personal. Listen to the corn rustling in the breeze as it dries down in preparation for harvest. Hear how the corn mutes the sounds of the outside world. Let your little ones lead the way as you try to find the exit. Many people value the experience so much that they turn around and go in again.
Straw Bale Maze
Get ready to snap some shots of your children in the straw bale maze from one of our two raised platforms. Spy on the kids, as they pretend to be lost, trying all the dead ends over and over, again. Listen to their shouts of glee when they find each other right around the corner.
Borrow one of our red wagons or bring your own for a trip out to the pumpkin patch. Each pumpkin is unique and its fun to see which one each family member chooses. Tall and thin, short and fat, extra-large or extra ugly, I mean beautiful, the right pumpkin is out there waiting for you. (less)... Read more

Chemistry Saves Lives - Texas A&M University's Chemistry Road Show
Presented by Dr. Jim Pennington
A Fall Wizard is coming to spark your interest in Chemistry! Join us to ignite imaginations and inspire students using chemistry demonstrations! There will be exploding pumpkins, weird polymers, super cold materials and even some surprising loud reactions! Dr. Jim Pennington presents the Texas A&M University Chemistry Road Show.
Chemistry is fundamental to medical education, acting as the foundation on which the human body functions. Chemistry is the key to life and underpins the search for a cure for cancer. The late President Bush and First Lady Barbara Bush were advocates of medical research to find cures for cancer following the death of their daughter Robin. With research, cancer is being cured.
